Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies provides faculty and students with the opportunity for interdisciplinary training and research in three-dimensional visualization and spatial mapping using High Definition Documentation Survey technologies, including 3D Laser Scanning, Global Positioning Systems, Geographic Information Systems, photogrammetry, and multi-spectral imaging. These are non-invasive, non-destructive technologies for rapidly collecting highly accurate and detailed spatial data that allow objects, structures, and even landscapes to be measured, documented, visualized, and potentially duplicated, in a single data collection event. For more information, visit the website at http://AIST.cas.usf.edu or contact Lori Collins (lcollins@cas.usf.edu) or Travis Doering (tdoering@mail.usf.edu).
