Medical Anthropology, International Maternal & Child Health and Reproductive Health; identity and the body; health policy in disasters/emergencies; global flows of biomedical and traditional medical knowledge. More specifically, I am interested in breastfeeding practices and beliefs, and how global (and public) policy impacts those beliefs and practices.
