Jason Miller

Jason Miller is a PhD student in Applied Anthropology at the University of South Florida where he is also concurrently pursuing a Master of Public Health in Health Education degree. Miller received his BA from Seattle University in Theater Design and holds a Masters degree in Anthropology from Western Washington University. Miller is an instructor at the University of South Florida as well as at Eckerd College. He has previously taught at Linn-Benton Community College where he also directed the Multicultural Center. Miller serves as a research associate with the Alliance for Applied Research in Education and Anthropology. Miller’s research interests focus on participatory and action approaches to knowledge and community development. He is particularly interested in the intersection between education and community.
