Susan Chanderbhan Forde is a doctoral student in the School Psychology program at the University of South Florida. She earned her Bachelors in Psychology at York University in Toronto, Canada and her Master’s in Educational Psychology at Indiana University-Bloomington. She has worked in the non-profit sector and in higher education administration in New York City and public schools in Indiana and Florida. Her primary research interests are the relationship between educational institutions and immigrant families and students and educational initiatives in developing countries. She joined AAREA in 2007 and she works on the Effects of College Degree Program Culture on Female and Minority Students’ Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Participation (STEP) project and the Florida Voluntary Public School Choice Evaluation project.
